Answers to your comfort questions
Answers to common heating & cooling questions from Paragon Service Pros — service areas, pricing, maintenance, financing, and more.
General Questions
We serve the Greater Phoenix area from our Queen Creek and Tempe offices — including Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale, Ahwatukee, East Phoenix, Apache Junction, and Gold Canyon. Not sure if you're in our area? Call 480-612-0056 and we'll let you know.
Correct — 24/7 emergency HVAC service with no overtime fees. Whether your AC quits at 2 PM on a Tuesday or 2 AM on a holiday weekend, you pay the same fair, upfront price. Arizona heat doesn't keep business hours, so neither do we.
No. Paragon Service Pros is locally owned and operated, with real offices in Queen Creek and Tempe. When you call, you reach our team — not a call center — and the technicians in the red-and-carbon trucks live and work right here in the Greater Phoenix area.
Yes. AC down during a 115° June afternoon or heat out on a cold desert night? Call us any time and we'll get a technician headed your way — same-day in most cases, and always with no after-hours surcharge.
Service & Repairs
Same-day service is our standard across the Greater Phoenix area, and emergency calls are dispatched around the clock. During peak summer we prioritize no-cooling calls — especially homes with kids, seniors, or pets.
Our diagnostic service is $89 — and we waive it entirely when you approve the recommended repair the same day. You'll always get a clear, written diagnostic report and upfront pricing before any work begins.
A good rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than half the price of a new system and your unit is 10+ years old, replacement usually wins — especially in Arizona, where systems work harder than almost anywhere in the country. We'll give you an honest side-by-side comparison with real numbers, never a pressure pitch.
On 110°+ days a correctly sized, well-maintained system may still run nearly continuously — that's normal. But weak airflow, warm air at the vents, or short-cycling usually point to a dirty coil, low refrigerant, or duct problems. A precision tune-up catches these before the heat wave does.
Maintenance & The Pro Plan
The Pro Plan is our lifetime membership: a one-time $995 enrollment that includes prioritized service, free bi-annual maintenance, free service calls, 25% off repairs and maintenance, 10% off new systems, 50% off R-410A refrigerant, and free freon leak detection — for as long as you own your home. See the full details on our Pro Plan page.
Twice a year: a cooling tune-up in spring before the heat arrives, and a heating check in fall. Desert dust, monsoon debris, and long run-times make bi-annual maintenance more important here than in milder climates — it protects efficiency, capacity, and your warranty.
Yes — a dirty coil or clogged filter can force your system to work measurably harder during Arizona summers, when cooling dominates your utility bill. Regular tune-ups keep the system running at rated efficiency and catch small failures before they become compressor-sized ones.
Installation & Financing
Yes — flexible financing options are available on qualifying new system installations, so you can replace a failing unit now and spread the cost into manageable payments. See our financing page or ask your comfort advisor for current offers.
We install Energy-Star certified air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, and ductless mini-splits sized specifically for desert performance, plus custom ductwork design and airflow optimization. We'll recommend the right system for your home and budget — not a one-size-fits-all box.
Most complete system replacements are finished in a single day. Complex jobs — new ductwork, multi-system homes, mini-split zoning — may take longer; you'll get a clear timeline in your written estimate before we start.
